Here we go...

All week I've had this plan about what to blog about.  I'd been ready to sit down and just tell stories to you, the reader.  These stories were going to be about Pokemon, because i thought that they would be funny, maybe kind of interesting, and people would like them.  But as I sat down to write, it just wasn't flowing. I just sounded rather bland and silly.  For some reason, I couldn't tell the stories.

I first tried o tell the story about the first time i saw the first Pokemon movie.  I was only four years old.  I loved that movie, and I still have it on VHS today.  I cried.  When I thought Ash was dead, i cried, and i cried, and I cried.  I loved that movie.  To be Honest, I still love that movie.

Now, while I love the movie, I love the games even more.  Pokemon Red version was my favorite.  I remember starting off, always wanting to catch a Pikachu.  and I remember I always wanted to be a pokemon master.

I had this bright idea when I was eight that I could try and catch real animals and make them my pokemon. I went and I set up a net with my friend and we put seeds on it to try and catch a bird so we could make it our Pokemon.  It didnt work so well.  However, we still had fun.

To this day, I still love pokemon, and I still aspire to be a Pokemon master!

  1. I also enjoy myself some pokemon when I'm not throwing dubious amounts of touchdown passes.

  2. Hahahaha, nice Tahar. Good one, good one. Here is a story about Pokemon from Joseph that I will type for him because he is not in this class: He cried the first time he saw butterfree released.
I didn't cry that time, but I did tear up when Ash almost let Pikachu go. Man, those were intense times. Yeah...

  4. On a professional note, you went against what Ms. Majerus said (at least during my period) when she said not to try and please the reader. In the first paragraph, you literally said you were trying to please the reader. On an informal note, I am pleased. Very entertaining story. I think most people at Uni can connect to your love of Pokemon. Yellow version was my favorite and I used to play the trading card game.

  5. Aww. It's a very sad-but-cute image, a four-year-old Tahar crying over the death of a favorite Pokemon character.

I am completely ignorant about all things Pokemon, but it seems to be a topic that would appeal to many of your readers. Thanks for your honesty about your struggles to find a story that flows. And good luck hitting on stories that work for you in the weeks ahead.

  6. I will definitely follow these posts if you decide to talk about Pokemon.
I think it would highly entertaining for readers... especially those of us who claim to have had a higher calling in the Pokemon world, at one time long ago.
    Keep it up!
    This is hilarious!

  7. The first paragraph threw me off, but the rest of this was all about Pokemon which I have no problem with. Nice job.

  8. I couldn't agree more; Pokemon the First Movie was one of my favorites. I nearly cried, but I was too upset I had gotten a Dragonite promo card, instead of an Electabuzz. I still remember the soundtrack (Vitamin C, M2M, etc.), and the songs are stuck in my head.

I tried the same thing with squirrels (box, bait, and stick), but that didn't work for me either. I liked how you deviated from conventional grammar; it made your emotions come out more.

  9. Pokemon 2000 was the movie, I'm sure you remember it. I still love pokemon also. Haters gonna hate, but I think i clocked in 10 hours of pokemon over the past week haha. I'd like to think i use my time well but thinking about how much pokemon ive played destroys that hope. :[
